Edna B. Hamil 82 Rural Oblong, Illinois died Monday, August 5, 2002 at Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, Illinois. Edna was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on March 21, 1920 an was the daughter of Marlin Stanley and Clara Catherine (Lobaugh) Welch. On April 15, 1939 Edna married Leo Robert Hamil who preceded her in death on September 13, 1998. Edna was a homemaker, and her hobbies included reading, sewing, crocheting, traveling and being with her family.

Edna is survived by a sister: Hazel Jenkins; 3 nephews: James & Angie Jenkins, Jack & Cindy Jenkins and Randy & Sharon Jenkins; 1 niece: Sandra & Curtis Ross. Edna is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.
